Didn't listen to the game. Seem to be losing interest in those darn Red Sox. Can't imagine why. :-)

It hadn't occurred to me that DEFCON 4 or whatever war footing we're on applied to the Coast Guard. Somehow I don't really think of the Coast Guard as a fighting force. Law enforcement,yes. Rescue, yes. DEFCON 4, no.
