Today's Starting Pitcher:
There is no baseball today anywhere in the USA.

BiB used to be an acronym for Bobby in Bosnia but it now stands for Bobby in Balkans.

My words never seem enough for the big emotions. For that matter, my emotions never seem big enough for the tragedy. My brother BiB has seen more of the awfulness of the human condition than I have and he has a much more emotional way of writing about it. Below is an excerpt from email I got from him this morning. I am moved beyond words at the support from the Kosovars.

I have seen the horrors of war and the scars it leaves and been embraced by those that have the first hand experience. The unity of spirit brought on by horror and terror is a very good place to start the healing process. I have seen the healing process and continue to see it daily in various stages. Like most areas in Europe and the rest of the world, and perhaps even stronger here, for the past two nights in every village and city in Kosovo, there have been large candle light vigils in sympathy and support for the USA. Each of the Kosovars that I see offer condolences and support, from a passing nod or bow, to a gentle touch on the arm, they send their support and love to our families and friends, their brothers and sisters in peace, the American people.
