Opportunity knocks. It's practically banging the door down. What on earth do I do? The universe so far has not seen fit to provide monetary rewards for my efforts at using my powers for good. (Will somebody please give the Hungarians a grant to digitize the bleeping dendrological bleeping atlas?) The universe has seen fit, however, to provide a call from the distant reaches of my old life - the good distant reaches - with a tantalizing prospect to work with a new technology at a brandy new startup with good people now that I've sat out the best high-tech job market in history. Oh how countercyclical. Should I call for a reader poll? Ask the magic 8-ball? Flip a coin? |
