Ever since I got back from the China trip, every time I see one of my coffee buddies for the first time he or she says "Did you hear that Dan had a terrible accident?" or "Did you hear that Dan fell off a ladder?" So yesterday I was having coffee with Hussein and George. We were sitting there talking about Dan. So we begged the barista behind the counter for use of the phone and called Dan. I said "I am in Starbucks with Hussein and George. We are saving you a seat at the bar." Well, it turns out he was on his way out to physical therapy but he agreed to meet us today for coffee. And so he did.

I brought my trip pictures because although Hussein had seen them, George and of course Dan, had not. Turns out Dan can read Chinese. Who knew?

Conversation flowed easily, we got to see Dan's surgical scar, and we all drank coffee. What more can one want?

I have no idea what else I was going to write here. There was something else, I know there was, but the brain is not cooperating.
