YAMATO! & Capt. Harlock?

Many of you may be asking, does he realize that Capt. Harlock was not in Space Cruiser Yamato/Star Blazers? Yes, I do, and the main reason he's in the above graphic is to fill out the picture.

Here's a bit of trivia though... Capt. Harlock, also the creation of Yamato's Leiji Matsumoto, was originally due to be in the first TV series! Instead of finding Alex Wildstar (Mamoru Kodai), Derek's brother, on Iscandar, the crew was supposed to find Harlock. Some say if you look closely at Alex's right eye on Iscandar, you can see the smudge lines from the erased eye patch. I've never seen this myself.
