4-Dec-99 Toy Story 2

Yeah, that's the title. I don't have anything new to say about it, though. Everyone loved the movie, and so did we. The animation is getting better and better and the imagination is still there.

It was a gray crummy day, but not cold, good for staying inside catching up on things, but not much for excitement.

But, you know, it was good weather for ducks. In the afternoon, just before going to the movie, we walked around Bullough's Pond to try to find all the birds I had been seeing during the week. The ruddy ducks were there, but no heron, kingfisher, nor buffleheads. Somewhat disappointed, we drove over to Crystal Lake. It was merganser day at Crystal lake! We spotted three hooded mergs first. They're always a treat to see, with strong black and white and chestnut color. Farther out on the lake, though, weren't just gulls and mallards, but about 50 American mergansers. We never used to see them until about five years ago, but since them we see a bunch every year.

It's just that I made all those Chanukah GIFs with varying numbers of candles. It seems like a shame not to use them. Of course, I don't have to download them.
