Bringing home the hay

This was on our way back from the village where the chickens were crossing the road.

Horseman with a load of hay

We saw this fellow riding towards us and got set to take a picture when he rode past. We didn't have to snap an action shot. He not only stopped and posed in good lighting, but also invited us over to his house for coffee! We declined.

On the other side of town we had seen a flatbed truck piled with so much hay it would have needed a “wide load” sign on a US highway, with three guys riding on the bumper and hood. Anne got a B&W picture of it, but I missed the opportunity.
