A Web Page for You, My
Love. |
Here you go Wendy, here is your present. It is your lovely face, along with my pledges of love eternal to you, broadcast across the WWW.
For those of you just joining us, let me fill you in. Wendy Mastandrea is my charming sexy wife. She told me not to buy her a present for her birthday, so I didn't, instead I made her this web site. This page will speak at least briefly about us, but more importantly will let me speak about her. Also it will let me, in a virtual way, give her a big kiss, and a card
Why am I doing this? Well I love Wendy a great deal and can not even think of not being with her, so I wanted to give her something special for her birthday. Being the unromantic jerk that I am, I was quite stuck, then inspiration (or possibly a brick) struck me and I thought of this page.
The WWW is an great way for the Everyman to publish their thoughts and words. So here I am, one Particularman, publishing my thoughts and words about my wife, my love: Wendy.
One thing you will note is that all these pictures are from our wedding. They were the best pictures of Wendy I had, so they were pressed into service. I think they do a magnificent job of showing Wendy's great looks.
Wendy's was born on January 30th 1971, which would make her 28 now. She is also an Aquarius for all those of you who are astrologically minded.
This is us the day we were married. It was a nice quite affair, only the immediate family from both sides were there. The photographer came to our apartment in Brookline we were living at the time and took pictures of us in the courtyard since it was such a nice day. We live in Boston (or actually north of Boston) as can be seen by the skyline in this picture.
Here are some other pictures of us and of just Wendy so you can get an idea of just how beautiful she is and how lucky I am (oh no, I'm not biased at all, whatever gave you that idea [grin]).
That first picture actually has a more telling version, go look at the other version if you want to see.
You might be asking yourself: If I was a Computer Science major at WPI how did I manage to meet a beautiful, charming Business Major from BU? Well, I have prepared a small digression to answer just that question.
(First off: I love you Wendy (just in case you had not already noticed).)
No web page concerning Wendy would be complete without something about her cats. I have placed their pictures on a separate page for your viewing pleasure.
I would like to thank Eric and Lisa Patacchiola for the use of their scanner and their time. (Just who is Derek De Lint and why is he in this picture of Wendy and I? and in this picture of the kitten? All I can say is don't ask, and never let Eric work on pictures without supervision [grin]).
I would also like to thank Wendy's parents for their role in providing me with such a fine woman to fall in love with and spend the rest of my life with.
My hope is that after viewing this page Wendy will be reminded of how much I love her. Also she can come back to this page whenever she wants to be reminding of that fact.
