Dehanced for Lynx: The worst site of the month
Say what you will about Salman Rushdie, you can't deny his written words
have have a tremendous impact. So it's particularly galling that the only
way to get to the Web site for his latest book is via a graphical browser
- especially since the site was set up by his publisher. You'd think that if
anybody would have some respect for the written word, it would be a BOOK
publisher! Connect to Random House's The Moor's Last Sigh,
however, and all you see is a single [LINK]. Click on that, and you get an
[ISMAP]. Not even an e-mail link through which to complain!
A round of
Bronx cheers, if you will, for the folks at Random House (but thanks to
Subir Grewal for pointing out this mess).
