23-Apr-40 | HMS Ark Royal and Glorious arrive off Norway. 6 Skuas launched to cover the Allied landings near Namsos and Aandulsnes. Ark Royal moved and 3 Skuas ditched while looking for her. |
24-Apr-40 | 10 Skua, 24 Swordfish from aircraft carriers attack Trondheim airfield. 4 aircraft lost, 7 ditched. |

8-Jun-40 | HMS Ark Royal escorts the withdrawing troop convoy. HMS Glorious confronted by Scharnhorst and Gneisenau, and sunk. Scharnhorst damaged. |
