My friend Jennifer found this passage (Deut. 16:16-17) in the service for Pesach/Shavuot/Sukkot; it struck her with its overtones of the idea that all of us are blessed with, and in turn responsible for using, our own unique gifts.As in most of my work, I use color breaks here to show how the phrases correspond between the Hebrew and the English text.
